Underground Railroad
The Underground Railroad was a big success for slaves. It helped them to get to other states that did not have slavery. People that lived in the Underground Railroad would take the slaves overnight. They would feed them and clothe them making sure they got rest and were healthy for the rest of their trip. Some of the people that helped with the Underground Railroad were Harriet Tubman, Reverend James King, Fredrick Douglas and many more. Some people succeeded while going through the Underground Railroad and some did not. It was a very good help for the African American slaves and the American Dream.
